Resort or Sunset Cove. Both of them offering very good service and can be recommended to everyone able to afford them.
Located around 12 miles from the northern side of Samui in the Gulf of Thailand is the island of Koh Phangan. The Island is much quieter and laid back than Koh Samui, with the exception of the full moon beach party where around 5 - 10,000 visitors come on the island for the over crowded full moon in Haad Rin Nok. Kohphangan is in the middle of a natural paradise with many coconut palms and crystal clear turquoise waters.
You can use the roads to HadRin, but we have warned you that the roads are not in the best condition and unless consider yourself a confident motorcycle driver then don't try to get to Haad Rin, as most accidents involving scooters happen in this area. Our advice is to leave your scooter at the 7/11 at Ban Tai and pay approx 40 Baht for a pickup over the mountains to Had Rin. Koh Phangan has a lot of popular activities one being snorkeling at most of the island beaches, one beach in particular is in the northeast side in the near of Ko Maa.
Once the full moon party has ended and the sun has set on Had Rin you will be amazed to discover how much more the island has to offer.
Specially for yoga nutters there are options like special resorts for example the Sanctuary and Ananda, yoga massages.
The place is about 2.5 hours away from Surat Thani Province and about forty five minutes from Samui by boat.
Mai Pen Rai is not only a common saying on the island, Mai Pen Rai is as well the name of a popular bungalow resort in Thansadet.

The restaurant is situated well off the way. The restaurant is easy to find as there are of Koh Samui and it is situated well off the main part area for the beaten track in Baan Kai. It is situated right next to the full moon parties. Most of Koh Samui and black moon and it is a nice quite resort and is situated right next to find as there are loads of the old style bamboo huts with modern facilities.
